Individuals looking to take this course must hold a Working at Heights ticket that is either valid and expiring soon OR that has been expired for less than one year.
This program reviews the legislative requirements relating to fall protection.
The theoretical training will revisit:

- Fall hazard awareness
- Safe use of ladders and scaffolds
- Power Elevated Work Platforms
- Inspection of fall protection equipment
- Proper use of fall protection equipment
The practical component of this course will review:
- The inspection and use of a harness and lanyard
- The inspection and use of other fall protection equipment such as a rope grab and life line, anchor point, and self-retracting life line
Course Delivery Format:
- IN PERSON – Friday (7:00AM – 12:00PM)
Completion of this course is mandatory for employment with Local 27, and must be renewed every three years.

Pen/Pencil and PPE (Hard Hat, Safety Boots, Safety Glasses, Long Pants, and a T-shirt or Long-Sleeved Shirt (NO Shorts or Tank Tops Allowed)).
Deposit Requirements: This is a high demand course. “No Shows” will not be tolerated for any reason. Individuals who fail to attend this class will forfeit their $100.00 course deposit.
