This program addresses the legislative requirements relating to fall protection.
The areas of theoretical training will include:

- Fall hazard awareness
- Safe use of ladders and scaffolds
- Power Elevated Work Platforms
- Inspection of fall protection equipment
- Proper use of fall protection equipment
The practical component of this course will include:
- The inspection and use of a harness and lanyard
- The inspection and use of other fall protection equipment such as a rope grab and life line, anchor point, and self-retracting life line
Course Delivery Format:
- IN PERSON – Saturday (7:30AM – 3:30PM)
Completion of this course is mandatory for employment with Local 27, and must be renewed every three years.

Required Tools/Supplies:
Pen/Pencil and PPE (Hard Hat, Safety Boots, Safety Glasses, Long Pants, T-Shirt or Long-Sleeved Shirt).
Deposit Requirements: This is a high demand course. “No Shows” will not be tolerated for any reason. Individuals who fail to attend this class will forfeit their $100.00 course deposit.
