This program addresses the legislative requirements relating to fall protection including; fall hazard awareness; safe use of ladders and scaffolds; Power Elevated Work Platforms; inspection of fall protection equipment; and the proper use of fall protection equipment. The practical component of this course will include the inspection and use of a harness and lanyard and other fall protection equipment such as a rope grab and life line, anchor point, and self-retracting life line. A record of training card will be issued on successful completion of the course. Every worker is required by law to successfully complete Working at Heights training before going out to work.
At the start of the class Students will be required to fill out a “Notice of Collection and Consent to Disclose Personal Information Forms” to be submitted to the MOL.
Full PPE is required to be allowed into the class.
Students more than 10 minutes late will be refused entry into the class.
Government photo ID is required for entry into the class (Health Cards are not acceptable as photo ID)
