WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) In Construction – CANCELLED

This course will review the workers’ rights regarding health and safety matters: the right to know, the right to participate, and the right to refuse, as well as the history of WHMIS legislation, labels, Material Safety Data Sheets, routes of entry, hazard controls, and how WHMIS is applied in construction.  A record of training card will be issued on successful completion of the course.  Every worker is required by law to successfully complete WHMIS training before going out to work.  WHMIS training must also be renewed every year.

Required Tools/Supplies: Notebook and pen

Deposit Requirements: The $50.00 course fee is a refundable deposit which will be credited back to you upon successful completion of the course unless you have exceeded the maximum allowable absence(s) permitted by your course.
