In this introductory course, students will learn the basic functions and construction applications associated with the Total Station and Data Collector instruments. The course will cover: Northing and Easting coordinate geometry, entering points into the data collector, setting up the instrument, shooting points, and applying Side-shot and Resection.
This course and all associated written learning materials and examinations are available in English only. If you need translation assistance, you are welcome to bring a translator (friend or Family member, who is not registered to attend the class) to the course with you. If you have other literacy or reading challenges, you may also bring a reader to assist you. If you do not have anyone to help you with either your translation or reading needs, please contact our office as soon as possible before the course so that we can arrange assistance for you.
