Total Station

In this introductory course, students will learn the basic functions and construction applications associated with the Total Station and Data Collector instruments.

The course will cover:

  • Northing and Easting coordinate geometry
  • Entering points into the data collector
  • Setting up the instrument
  • Shooting points
  • Applying Side-Shot and Resection.

Course Delivery Format:

    • *IN PERSON: Wednesday Evenings (5:00PM – 9:00PM) OR Thursday Evenings (5:00PM – 9:00PM)
    • IN PERSON: Saturdays (8:00AM – 4:00PM)

    *This course is offered on either Wednesday/Saturday OR Thursday/Saturday. Please make your course selections carefully.

This course and all associated written learning materials and examinations are available in English only.

Courses that do not meet minimum enrollment requirements will be cancelled.

 

Prerequisites: None

Required Tools/Supplies: Practical: Hammer, scientific calculator, tool pouch, tape measure, chalk line, plumb bob, notebook, pen and PPE.

Deposit Requirements: This is a high demand course. “No Shows” will not be tolerated for any reason. Individuals who fail to attend this class will forfeit their $100.00 course deposit.
