In this introductory course, students will learn the basic functions and construction applications associated with the Total Station and Data Collector instruments.
The course will cover:
- Northing and Easting coordinate geometry
- Entering points into the data collector
- Setting up the instrument
- Shooting points
- Applying Side-Shot and Resection.
Course Delivery Format:
- *IN PERSON: Monday & Wednesday Evenings (5:00PM – 9:00PM) OR Tuesday & Thursday Evenings (5:00PM – 9:00PM)
- IN PERSON: Saturdays (8:00AM – 4:00PM)

This course and all associated written learning materials and examinations are available in English only.
Courses that do not meet minimum enrollment requirements will be cancelled.

Required Tools/Supplies:
Theory: Computer/Tablet/Phone (with a working microphone and camera), Internet Access, Microsoft TEAMS (App or Web Access), and a VALID Email Address. Practical: Hammer, scientific calculator, tool pouch, tape measure, chalk line, plumb bob, notebook, pen and PPE.
Deposit Requirements: This is a high demand course. “No Shows” will not be tolerated for any reason. Individuals who fail to attend this class will forfeit their $100.00 course deposit.
