This is a recognized Solid Surface Installer’s course. Students will be instructed in both the installation and the repair techniques associated with solid surface products. Students will be required to demonstrate these techniques through both the fabrication and the installation of solid surface countertops. Participants will be assessed on their understanding of the technical information associated with the product(s).
Course Delivery Format:
- IN PERSON: Thursday (5:00PM – 9:00PM)
- IN PERSON: Saturday and Sunday (7:30AM – 5:30PM)
This course is available to General Carpenter Journeypersons only. Individuals looking to enroll in this class should also have a familiarity of routers and trim, as well as an ability to work to close tolerances.
This course and all associated written learning materials and examinations are available in English only.
Courses that do not meet minimum enrollment requirements will be cancelled.

Block plane, measuring tape, 1" chisel, hammer, utility knife, PPE (Hard Hat, Boots, Glasses), notebook and pen/pencil.
Deposit Requirements: This is a high demand course. “No Shows” will not be tolerated for any reason. Individuals who fail to attend this class will forfeit their $100.00 course deposit.
