SketchUp Pro is a fun, simple and easy way to learn how to create 3D drawings. SketchUp Pro is used to ensure accuracy when collaborating and communicating with various trades on the jobsite. SketchUp Pro is one of many 3D computer aided drawing tools used to support Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes which is becoming the new standard in the construction industry. The course will also explore further concepts related to BIM in construction, including Clash Detection, Layering and how it can be applied to Safety Planning, and Site Layout.
This course and all associated written learning materials and examinations are available in English only. If you need translation assistance, you are welcome to bring a translator (friend or Family member, who is not registered to attend the class) to the course with you. If you have other literacy or reading challenges, you may also bring a reader to assist you. If you do not have anyone to help you with either your translation or reading needs, please contact our office as soon as possible before the course so that we can arrange assistance for you.
