This course focuses on safe procedures and erection methods for Systems and Tube and Clamp scaffolds in the Ontario Construction Industry. Safe erection and dismantling of scaffolds will be the focus of the course which will include a written exam and practical pass/fail assessment. A record of training card will be issued on successful completion of the course.
This course is required to work at Ontario Power Generation (OPG) Nuclear Facilities.

If you need help with translation, reading, or writing, you may ask a friend or family member (who is not registered to attend the class) to assist you. If you require translation and/or literacy support, and you do not have anyone to assist you, please contact the office at least 48 hours prior to the start of the course.

Required Tools/Supplies:
Theory: Computer/Tablet/Phone (with a working microphone and camera), Internet Access, Microsoft TEAMS (App or Web Access), and a VALID Email Address. Practical: Notebook, tool pouch, 25' tape measure, hammer 20oz, torpedo level 9", chalk line, adjustable wrench or speed wrench, PPE, (Hat, Boots, Glasses) and pen or marker. To avoid forfeiting your seat, course deposits must be paid 72 hours prior to the start date of the course.
Deposit Requirements: This is a high demand course. “No Shows” will not be tolerated for any reason. Individuals who fail to attend this class will forfeit their $100.00 course deposit (re: a refund WILL NOT be issued).
