This course focuses on safe procedures and erection methods for Systems and Tube and Clamp scaffolds in the Ontario Construction Industry. Safe erection and dismantling of scaffolds will be the focus of the course which will include a written exam and practical pass/fail assessment. A record of training card will be issued on successful completion of the course. This course is required to work at Ontario Power Generation (OPG) Nuclear Facilities.
This course and all associated written learning materials and examinations are available in English only. If you need translation assistance, you are welcome to bring a translator (friend or Family member, who is not registered to attend the class) to the course with you. If you have other literacy or reading challenges, you may also bring a reader to assist you. If you do not have anyone to help you with either your translation or reading needs, please contact our office as soon as possible before the course so that we can arrange assistance for you.

Required Tools/Supplies:
Computer, access to the Internet, download TEAMS, a valid email addres, notebook, tool pouch, 25' tape measure, hammer 20oz, torpedo level 9", chalk line, adjustable wrench or speed wrench, PPE, (Hat, Boots, Glasses, Mask and Golves) and pen or marker.
Deposit Requirements: The $50.00 course fee is a refundable deposit which will be credited back to you upon successful completion of the course unless you have exceeded the maximum allowable absence(s) permitted by your course.
