The objective of this course is to provide the student with the theory and hands-on practice to rig safely and productively. This course introduces the student to the history of rigging, wire rope, chain, slings, hardware, and knots.
The theory component will involve calculating weights, center of gravity, load charts and sling stress as well as other math modules.
The practical component will involve inspecting rigging hardware, selecting the right hardware for the lift and using voice/hand signals with the crane operator to hoist various objects.
This course is 5 days in duration and 100% attendance is required in order to receive certification.

- IN PERSON: Full Time (one week), Monday – Friday (7:30AM – 3:00PM)

Courses that do not meet minimum enrollment requirements will be cancelled.

Deposit Requirements: This is a high demand course. “No Shows” will not be tolerated for any reason. Individuals who fail to attend this class will forfeit their $100.00 course deposit.
