Layout

Students are introduced to basic geometric layout and the math required in layout before being taught how to use a Builder’s Level, Digital Theodolite, and Builder’s Transit Level.

 

This course and all associated written learning materials and examinations are available in English only.  If you need translation assistance, you are welcome to bring a translator (friend or Family member, who is not registered to attend the class) to the course with you.  If you have other literacy or reading challenges, you may also bring a reader to assist you.  If you do not have anyone to help you with either your translation or reading needs, please contact our office as soon as possible before the course so that we can arrange assistance for you.

Prerequisites: None

Required Tools/Supplies: Hammer, scientific calculator, tool pouch, tape measure, chalk line, plumb bob, notebook, pen and PPE

Deposit Requirements: The $50.00 course fee is a refundable deposit which will be credited back to you upon successful completion of the course unless you have exceeded the maximum allowable absence(s) permitted by your course.
