This course focuses on reviewing the forklift operator’s responsibilities as defined by the Occupational Health & Safety Act and safe operating procedures for all-terrain forklifts. The course includes information on forklift functions, proper maintenance and inspections, and safe operating practices. Each student will be required to pass a written test and schedule a practical evaluation after the in class instruction component. The practical evaluation is approximately 2 hours on the machine. A record of training card will be issued on successful completion of the course.
A Valid Driver’s License is required to take this course.
You can attend this course if your original ticket is no more than 4 years expired. If you are more than 4 years expired you will be required to take the full Forklift All Terrain course again.
This course and all associated written learning materials and examinations are available in English only. If you need translation assistance, you are welcome to bring a translator (friend or Family member, who is not registered to attend the class) to the course with you. If you have other literacy or reading challenges, you may also bring a reader to assist you. If you do not have anyone to help you with either your translation or reading needs, please contact our office as soon as possible before the course so that we can arrange assistance for you.
