Students will receive basic instruction on the different estimating methods used to determine costs in construction projects. Students will learn to define scope of work, calculate units of work, use an estimating guide, and price small residential or commercial projects.
This course and all associated written learning materials and examinations are available in English only. If you need translation assistance, you are welcome to bring a translator (friend or Family member, who is not registered to attend the class) to the course with you. If you have other literacy or reading challenges, you may also bring a reader to assist you. If you do not have anyone to help you with either your translation or reading needs, please contact our office as soon as possible before the course so that we can arrange assistance for you.

- Blueprint Reading 1
- Intermediate Carpentry – Phase II

Deposit Requirements: The $50.00 course fee is a refundable deposit which will be credited back to you upon successful completion of the course unless you have exceeded the maximum allowable absence(s) permitted by your course.
