An awareness course for recognizing and working in confined spaces. This course reviews the legislative requirements when working in a confined space, hazard awareness, and the procedures for working in a confined space environment. Emergency procedures are also reviewed. A record of training card will be issued upon successful completion of the course.
This course and all associated written learning materials and examinations are available in English only. If you need help with translation, reading, or writing, you may ask a friend or family member (who is not registered to attend the class) to assist you. If you require translation and/or literacy support, and you do not have anyone to assist you, please contact the office at least 48 hours prior to the start of the course.
Courses that do not meet minimum enrollment requirements will be cancelled.
Computer/Tablet/Phone (with a working microphone and camera), Internet Access, Microsoft TEAMS (App or Web Access), and a VALID Email Address. To avoid forfeiting your seat, course deposits must be paid 72 hours prior to the start date of the course.
Deposit Requirements: Course deposits are refunded upon course completion. Refunds will NOT be issued to students who fail to attend, who exceed the maximum allowable absence(s) permitted by the course, and/or to students who are removed from the course at the discretion of the Instructor(s). Please allow 2-3 weeks for refunds to be processed.
