This course is available to members who have either completed Intermediate Carpentry or the Residential Trim Course, or who work in the Commercial Trim sector.
Curriculum topics will include: interpreting prints and shop drawings, millwork layout, cabinet handling and install, installing crown molding and built up trim, as well as fabricating and installing panel frames.
Duration: 6 Saturdays (in person)
Prerequisites: Completion of either Intermediate Carpentry or the Residential Trim Course, or experience in the Commercial Trim sector.
Students must bring hand tools on Saturdays; including, a block plane, a coping saw, and a wood chisel set.
This course and all associated written learning materials and examinations are available in English only. If you need translation assistance, you are welcome to bring a translator (friend or Family member, who is not registered to attend the class) to the course with you. If you have other literacy or reading challenges, you may also bring a reader to assist you. If you do not have anyone to help you with either your translation or reading needs, please contact our office as soon as possible before the course so that we can arrange assistance for you.
If minimum enrolment is not met the course will be cancelled.

Deposit Requirements: The $100.00 course fee is a refundable deposit which will be credited back to you upon successful completion of the course unless you have exceeded the maximum allowable absence(s) permitted by your course.
