This course consists of a comprehensive review of all areas of General Carpentry in order to prepare students to challenge the Red Seal exam. Students will also be coached in exam time management skills, developing effective study habits, and strategies for writing multiple choice exams.
This course and all associated written learning materials and examinations are available in English only. If you need translation assistance, you are welcome to bring a translator (friend or Family member, who is not registered to attend the class) to the course with you. If you have other literacy or reading challenges, you may also bring a reader to assist you. If you do not have anyone to help you with either your translation or reading needs, please contact our office as soon as possible before the course so that we can arrange assistance for you.

*Note: Students must meet Ministry of Training, Colleges, & Universities guidelines regarding the completion of General Carpenter apprenticeship schooling, (Phase I, Phase II & Phase III) and the minimum required work experience hours. If you have completed all levels of schooling, you are required to have a minimum of 5,400 work experience hours. Journey Carpenters with Local 27 may also register for this course.
