Basics of Supervising

This course will help prepare forepersons and supervisors to become “Competent Persons”, as defined by the Occupational Health and Safety Act.  The objectives of this course are to increase supervisory skills and to make forepersons/supervisors aware of their responsibilities under the Occupational Health & Safety Act.  A record of training card will be issued on successful completion of the course.

Prerequisites: None

Required Tools/Supplies: Notebook and pen

Deposit Requirements: The $50.00 course fee is a refundable deposit which will be credited back to you upon successful completion of the course unless you have exceeded the maximum allowable absence(s) permitted by your course.

*Note: Please be advised you must be at least a 3rd term Apprentice or higher to take this course. Also by request from Employer in writing only, if you are a 1st or 2nd term Apprentice.
