This course will help prepare forepersons and supervisors to become “Competent Persons”, as defined by the Occupational Health and Safety Act. The objectives of this course are to increase supervisory skills and to make forepersons/supervisors aware of their responsibilities under the Occupational Health & Safety Act. A record of training card will be issued on successful completion of the course.
This course and all associated written learning materials and examinations are available in English only. If you need translation assistance, you are welcome to bring a translator (friend or Family member, who is not registered to attend the class) to the course with you. If you have other literacy or reading challenges, you may also bring a reader to assist you. If you do not have anyone to help you with either your translation or reading needs, please contact our office as soon as possible before the course so that we can arrange assistance for you.
