Phase II or Intermediate Level schooling is the second of three levels of mandatory in-class training that every General Carpenter apprentice is required to successfully complete. Phase II is 8 full-time weeks long; classes run all day, every day from Monday through Friday. Apprentices will be required to attain 60% or higher in each of the three reportable subjects in order to pass Phase II. The three reportable subjects are: Residential Construction; Plans, Specifications, & Codes II; and Estimating, Calculations, & Layout II.
