This course focuses on the safe operation of both scissor and boom type elevating work platforms.  In class instruction outlines the operator’s responsibilities under the Occupational Health & Safety Act, proper inspection, maintenance procedures, and safe operating industry best practices.

In order for a record of training to be issued, students must pass both the written exam and the practical evaluation.  The practical evaluation is approximately four hours in length and will be scheduled after the theory portion of the class has concluded.

A valid driver’s license (minimum class G2) is a suggested prerequisite but is not required.

CLASS LOCATION: 222 Rowntree Dairy Road, Woodbridge ON

There is no deposit required for this course. However, if you drop out, fail to attend, or are expelled from the program, you will be required to pay $100 before being accepted into future courses.

Participants must wear long pants and a t-shirt or long-sleeved shirt. Individuals wearing shorts and/or sleeveless shirts. Tank tops will not be allowed to participate.
