Level 3 General Carpenter training (Advanced) is the final mandatory in-class training block. The course focuses on complex construction, advanced layout, and commercial construction methods. It prepares apprentices for the Red Seal Certification exam by covering advanced structural components, finishing, and project estimation.

Week 9 is exclusively dedicated to Red Seal exam preparation.

Apprentices wishing to take this class must have a registered Apprenticeship Training Agreement in 403A and be in good standing with Local 27. Completion of both General Carpenter - Level 1 (Basic) and General Carpenter – Level 2 (Intermediate), as well as completion of 5400 working hours are mandatory prerequisites.
