General Carpenter – Level 1 (Basic 1156887) | 7786B
Level 1 General Carpenter training (Basic) introduces apprentices to essential construction skills during eight weeks of in-school training. Topics include safety, trade tools, blueprint reading, and basic material calculations. Emphasis is placed on foundational skills, including site preparation, concrete formwork, basic framing, and welding. Level 1 (Basic) training is designed to prepare apprentices for site work in ICI (institutional, commercial, industrial) and/or residential projects.
Apprentices wishing to take this class must have a registered Apprenticeship Training Agreement in 403A and be in good standing with Local 27.
