Level 2 General Carpenter training (Intermediate) focuses on moving beyond basic tool handling to mastering the precision required for complex structural and finishing components in the construction industry. Key areas of instruction include advanced layout and framing, roof systems, interior and exterior finishing, wood stairs, and blueprint reading to meet Red Seal standards.

Apprentices wishing to take this class must have a registered Apprenticeship Training Agreement in 403A and be in good standing with Local 27. Completion of both General Carpenter - Level 1 (Basic) schooling and of 1800 work hours are mandatory prerequisites.
