This course is designed to increase the students’ confidence in performing material and layout calculation on the job. It can be used to help students prepare for apprenticeship schooling as it parallels the math curriculum for Basic Carpentry – Phase 1. Beginning with whole numbers, this course will review addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Decimals, fractions, area, volume, and other applications of construction math will also be explored.

IN PERSON: Tuesday & Thursday Evenings (5:00PM – 9:00PM)
This course and all associated written learning materials and examinations are available in English only

Courses that do not meet minimum enrollment requirements will be cancelled.

Deposit Requirements:
This is a high demand course. “No Shows” will not be tolerated for any reason. Individuals who fail to attend this class will forfeit their $100.00 course deposit.
